What Is Sadaqah Jariyah?

Sadaqah Jariyah means a charity that continues. You give once, but people keep getting benefit from it, so you keep getting reward, even after your death.

The Prophet ﷺ said that when a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, useful knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them (Sahih Muslim).

A masjid, a madrasa, a well, a tree, or teaching someone the Qur'an are all examples. When you support the Islamic Complex or our Qur'an classes, you take part in Sadaqah Jariyah.
